New England Supply Chain Conference 2017

The New England Supply Chain Conference (NESCON) will be held the first Monday in October. We will review the economic trends that matter to managers, giving us a first look at what conditions to expect going into 2018. The conference will provide the only regional opportunity to network with 300 to 400 other supply chain professionals in one day and under one roof.

This year the conference will start with breakfast and Timothy Fiore, Chair of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Report on Business (ROB), giving the initial address. The conference will then break into three classes to discuss innovation. One of these classes, “Breaking Through Conceptual Blind Spots,” will review the context of Lean and the Toyota Production System.

Following the first class you can join the rest of the conference for lunch and our keynote speaker, John McGurrin, current Vice President for SAP Ariba Strategic Accounts. He will review the digital transformation of businesses across supply chains.

After lunch, there will be two more educational sections: risk and mastery. In “Negotiating Challenges: Approaches to Deal With ‘Challenging’ Personalities & Low Leverage,” Moshe Cohen will teach you about approaches to deal with challenging personalities. In another class, Mike Reagan will point out that sometimes being a psychic is just pointing out the obvious.

The New England Supply Chain Conference will be put on by the local chapters of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), the New England affiliates of ISM, and the New England Roundtable of the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) as a way of encouraging dialogue and creating relationships within the New England supply chain network.

This year NESCON will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017, at Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

The New England Supply Chain Conference and Educational Exposition promises to be the key supply management event of the year. It will provide leading edge workshops, keynote speakers, and plenty of networking time to share challenges and successes with colleagues from across the supply chain. With the rapid pace of advancement in the field, it’s even more important to keep up with what’s new and to network with others in your profession.

COST: Regular rate of $300.00, but SAVE $101.00 WITH THE EARLY-DISCOUNT SUMMER PRICING OF ONLY $199! Discount available ONLY through 9/5/17 (Labor Day).
